1. Introduction
Checking old lesson
Introducing new lesson: Technology and you (reading).
2. Body (Pstory software and Hot Potatoes)
Activity 1: Teacher asks students have a look on a Video Clip and answer questions: What are the students doing with? They are doing with computers. Then teacher asks students: Please tell me some important parts of a computer that you know. Students list: CPU, mouse . . .
Activity 2: Teacher asks students look at the pictures and match each picture with it definition (name). Then students make matching exercise (Hot Potatoes)
Activity 3: Students play crossword game to understand the meaning of the new words (Crossword Compiler).
Activity 4: Students do matching exercise (Task 1 – student book page 55) Hot Potatoes).
Activity 5: Students have a look on Video Clip on computer (Pstory software).
3. Consolidation and closing
Students work in group on the following question: What can the computers do? ( get more knowledge (eMindMaps).
